Short version: the calculators don't collect your details, and we use analytics cookies to count visits.
Who runs this site
lifeinsurancecalculator.me.uk is run by Herdo MB, a company registered in Lithuania. For anything about this site or your data, email contact@lifeinsurancecalculator.me.uk.
The figures you type
Our calculators work in your browser. The amounts you enter are not sent to us or stored. We don't ask for your name, email address or phone number anywhere on this site.
Analytics
To see which pages and calculators people use, we use Google Analytics and Clicky, loaded through Google Tag Manager. They record things like the pages you visit, how you arrived, your browser and device, and your approximate location. When you use a calculator we record which calculator it was and a broad range for the result (for example "£250k–£400k"), never the exact figures you entered.

Turning cookies off
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the calculators will still work. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. AboutCookies.org explains how to manage cookies in each browser.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. The only personal data this site handles is the analytics data above, which isn't linked to your name. Email contact@lifeinsurancecalculator.me.uk with any request. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

We link to insurers, GOV.UK and other sources so you can check our figures. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
